there there is a LOT of money in that region. And a large amount of it comes from private parties in the US. As much as the US is seen to support Isreal, there is a large amount of private support for the people of Lebabnon and Palestine. (Note: I don't think this supports the terror organizations, this goes to the family and freinds still lving in the mid-east.) If that support were increased, formalized and perhaps also supported by the US, perhaps the terror organizations would begin to loose power.
