They do call me Uncle. I live in Hawaii and it is common for children to refer to adults that they know or that are friends of the family as Uncle or Auntie. A friend of mine is a teacher in a public school out here and the students call him Mister, just Mister, no last name. That’s just out here in the islands though. I am sure it is different out there in civilization.
