she's guilty, which only means she did what they said she did. Insanity should only be considered when it's time to figure out what to do with her (now that we know she did what the prosecution says she did).

Oh, well - from what I can gather the first lesson in law school is how to disregard common sense. To my mind, "not guilty" means she didn't do it, not that she did it but couldn't help herself.
