If you have SQL Server installed	by MatthewDBA	2006-07-26 10:43:16
you should have Enterprise Manager available, I think. Go to $ServerInstance -> Management -> SQL Server Logs. Pick the most recent and click. Alternately, make sure that SQLDMO is loaded, and assign $qryErrorResults = $ServerInstance.ReadErrorLog(1) as QueryResults Then read from $qryErrorResults as you would from any query.
