Unless I personally know somebody, I still tend to use Sir/Ma'am/Miss, or Mister/Misses/Miss <surname>; even when dealing with adults younger than I. I only use the given name for pre-adolescents, people I know on a personal level and people who specifically ask me to do so.

Incidentally, I'm 44 years old; the time frame during which I grew up almost certainly affected how I use names in conversation.
