I think they're trying to speed up the process by getting it paid online, and being a small company they don't have a system to pay through their own website. It makes sense for people who are moving in from out of town and can't get to the agent's office easily. I just found it strange when I clicked the link in their email and got taken to a generic login screen, with no links to actually create an account. I get unduly touchy about being made to jump through hoops like this when I'm paying through the nose for a service. Never mind that part of the fee pays for a credit check on thecatwoman, who will not be paying the rent. adds two entries to the Somebody Wasn't Thinking files
