To me, the statement should be: "Nothing within our understanding can change the laws of physics. Nothing within our understanding can interfere by casting the dice differently. As science is an agnostic discipline, there is no assumption of the supernatural, but if anything supernatural does exist, it would, by definition, be beyond the scope and the ability of science to explain."
