Requesting some numbers help by FNORDer 2006-07-12 21:33:58
I'm working on a spreadsheet for a little Sci-fi project to crunch numbers for solar systems and planets, one of the things I'd like to add is the ability of planetary gravity wells to trap certain gasses. Only I've completely forgotten that part of senior chemistry (considering it was 8 years ago I guess it's not surprising). Anyone know the technical term for whatever this is? and could you point me in the right direction with regards to calculating it?
