Unless they are outdoors. If the blinds are open they reflect off the screens rendering them unreadable because I have Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome. Perhaps the person has the same issue. Though of course it could just be lazy geek in the dark. People have said something to me. If I am wearing special glasses the blinds are fine open. In lower light though they aren't ideal. People do seem to understand once I mention my vision problem. I do get out just fine so I don't think my interior surroundings or use of special glasses when out sometimes really impact much.
