to the US. That includes for transfers between banks, setting up secheduled payments between my accounts at different banks. Cheque books, online banking, ATMs, overdraft facility. When I was a student they gave me an interest free overdraft of GBP 500. No fees or interest unless I went into the red by more than 500. The never canceled that when I finished at university, it's still on the account 10 years later. Plus my current account (checking account) paied more interest that some of the savings accounts I've seen in the US.
