to speak, I was going through a book with animal pictures. It wasn't a kid's book, so it wasn't like anyone had gone through these specific pages with her night after night. I was pointing at various animals, and speaking their names. She would repeat each one after me. I came to one animal, and I wasn't sure if this one would confuse her, and as I was wondering whether or not I should take the easy route and just call it a dog, she pointed and said, "fox."
