Including this passage from the article DR linked above: Following my interview with the primary source, I sought out the second administration official and the CIA spokesman for confirmation. I learned Valerie Plame's name from Joe Wilson's entry in "Who's Who in America." So the CIA spokesman confirmed Plame was a CIA agent and did not block publication. This is before anyone published her identity. So do you see something wrong with the CIA saying she is a agent if she were covert?
