it still exists and is legal tender. I paid off a debt yesterday using one. I bet a friend $2 that France would beat Italy. When he demanded his twooney, I produced a two dollar bill. He has only been in Canada for a few years and thought it was funny money. The bartender assured him that it is legal tender and offered to trade a twooney for it. :D
