Last year Bush signed a bill that allows people who feel threatened on the street, in a bar, at a ball game — or just about anywhere — to "meet force with force" to defend themselves without fear of being prosecuted.

In FL, I believe you CAN'T carry to sporting events or in bars. I believe the law says anyplace you're legal to be, you're legal to defend yourself. And if you're not charged with a crime and the shoot is ruled self defense, you're shielded from civil cases by the victim's survivors.
