some are copier-fax-in-one. Some companies still "throw away" equipment that works perfectly well, but "looks aging". And sometimes accountants will tell their clients to "re-invest money in newer equipment, because the old one cannot be written down any more" (I hope that's not a literal translation. I hint at an accounting technique, where the cost of office equipment is deductible from the net profits, just "because" the equipment is aging. After some years, it has accounting value of 0 and cannot be <written down> any further)
