as 'meddler' as an adverse connotation that you're sticking your nose where it doesn't belong or doing something you really shouldn't in someone else's buisness. What you're doing is tinkering with your system to see if you can make it just a little bit better, which isn't a bad thing at all. Oh, the answer to the question? Yes. Very. Constantly. (Though my tinkering does sometime border on meddling when I start doing it to systems that don't belong to me.)
