"Restrict ownership of personal firearms,"

Canada has real and functional gun control laws. They have more guns per capita than we do. So how does this restrict it? hmmmm?

"Restrict, through tax laws, how much money they think is fair for you to earn,"

Last I checked, Sweden has a LOT more income tax than the USA does. And for a while there, Ingmar Kamrad (sp?), founder of IKEA, had more money/assets than Bill Gates. Taxes don't restrict wealth.

"Restrict the kind of vehicle you can drive (the environment, doncha know...)"

yeah. California has had stricter car regs than any other state for decades. And we have the same selection in cars for sale. This is obviously false.

"Restrict when and where you can express an opinion about, say, birth control/abortion, religion, patriotism, etc.,"

Freedom of speech is something liberals fight for. Check out the ACLU, for one. Last I checked, it was the conservatives that pushed through limits on what words could be said on TV and radio. You don't honestly believe what you're saying here, do you?

"Restrict, again through tax laws, foods they feel aren't good for you (fast food),"

uhhhhhhh... since when has fast food been restricted and taxed different than any other restaurant???

"Restrict (tax) anything they feel isn't correct or right for someone to have/want/need/etc. "

HUH???

Sorry, your reality check just bounced...
