Though I would argue that we have the government we're too lazy to get off our fat backsides and vote out, but I suppose in a fashion that's 'asking for it'. As long as the only people in the U.S. that vote are the extremists, we'll continue to have extremist politicians pushing the "not [liberal \| conservative] enough" button, pushing the parties (and WHY, oh WHY, do we continue to let only 2 political parties own the entire system...oh, we're lazy, that's right!) into conflict.
