Colour in an ssh session? by MrTrick 2006-07-03 17:54:51
In my dreamhost shell, I don't get any terminal colours... Is there something *I* can do to fix it, or is it a root-only thing?

The client (putty) does support colours - I can ssh to a local server and have colours in the shell, from there ssh to the dreamhost server - no colours in the shell, then from there telnet to nuclearwombats and have brightly coloured monsters chasing me.
