a bad name. I don't care if you are republican, Democrat, Libritarian, Liberal, Conservative or what... There is ALWAYS some validity to what the opposing viewpoint thinks. Diversity will always come up with a better solution than when everyone thinks in their own world.
You don't change peoples opinions and conceptions by playing brinksmanship or the "or else I will take my ball and go home" game. Doing so only entrences both sides more and makes realizing when the other is right...that much more difficult.
As far as this person goes, if they can not agree to disagree OR to come up with a more valid discussion than "or else I am leaving" then fine, it is their loss...not yours.
I may disagree with you on some things but in discussing them with others and the differences in viewpoints I learn and hey...that is life! :-D |
