These people whining about their `rights' are the ones that take no responsibility for their actions. They figure that they have to right to be jack@**es without consequence and society has allowed lawyers to set the standard. I think that there would be something to be said in favour of compulsary military service for offenders such as these. Let them learn the hard way what it means to serve your nation then they may earn the right to critizise.

The questions that remain in this case is 1) were they deliberaty descrating the monument, or were they just drunk idiots looking for a wall to piss against?
2) If they were `making a statement' was it against the governemtn, the military, (if so what do they have against battles fought before most of them were likely born)

And finaly, as far as I know, Urination in public is against most city bilaws, and may even be stretched to fit under federal health laws. Either way, the pictures from the video should be published as the Edmonton police did with the Rioters from the Stanley cup games.
