We started out with a little .22 caliber nine-shot revolver.
Then progressed to a standard .38 six-shot.
Then we tryed out a Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum, with a short barrel (This is were most people cursed in surprise at the recoil after the first shot)
Then we got to have a go with a Redhawk .44 Magnum, with the 'Dirty Harry' barrel.
The culmination was then provided by a Taurus - Raging Bull .454 casul five-shot revolver, with the long barrel.
The big guns, especially the casul, really made it clear how silly those hollywood scenes are, where the hero fires a big revolver from the hip, with a half bent arm, and still manages to hit what he's aiming at. |
