If Israel does that, they'll kill whatever credibility Hamas has with other terrorist factions in Palestine .. A case of "You cant' even look after your own. HTF are you going to look after Palestine?" I'm all for use of force when necessary, but I don't think this is it. At best, they'd just ruin what little peace developments they DO have. At worst, they'll convince Palestine groups that there really is no dealing with Israel and this will drag on even longer than it otherwise would have.
