When you send in your e-mails CC EVERYONE by Classic_Jon 2006-07-03 09:02:22
that COULD *POSSIBLY* have something to do with it and send it with a read receipt. That way you can say that they did receive it and have read it. If necessary you can forward them a copy of the read receipt. It may not win you any friends but it will DEFINITELY put the burden of proof back on them...which is the point.

You could also forward them the copy of the e-mail that you sent out and ask them to contact the correct person(s) that are heading up this project. This is a good way to bring up at the next meeting that for the *good of the company* and to eliminate confusion YOU need a central person at $company that will handle disbursing the necessary info parties to avoid wasting all the parties concerned valuable time sending multiple e-mails and so that you can comply with their request that you be a "go getter" and spend your time constructively pursuing the dual goals of completing the project(s) at hand and being a "go getter" and not spending the companies valuable time answering multiple e-mails on the same thing.

Be prepared to back up the multiple e-mails on the same thing from multiple sources no matter what. They are the key to the "too many cheifs, not enough indians" delimma that you are/seem to be in right now.
