...you should have stood up for yourself on Thursday and responded to those emails with a succinct "Status Report Day has been agreed to be Friday; As such, I will have that Status Report to you tomorrow." Further, you were sick, and should not have come in. By caving on the above points, you've set yourself up as easily pressurable, and this relationship is unlikely to ever get better. KS
