I've got 3 cats so I've become adept at catching various forms of wildlife that the cats have released in the house. I get the feeling the cat is saying: "Don't you belive I caught this? Well, I'll let it go and catch it again. If I can't or don't want to - YOU deal with it."
To date I've had to catch lizards, locusts, harbour rats (one weighed in at 900g (almost 2 pounds?), assorted birds and mice and my favourite: snakes. Brown house snakes, mole snakes and a red lipped Herald - who knows where he found that. Oh yeah - and legless skinks - which is, as I understand it, not a snake but a lizard. Believe me, when you're trying to get this thing out from under the sofa - lizard does not come to mind. Leggless lizard my a3. No legs + scales + long thin body + creepy tongue = snake. |
