One of my neighbors actually saw it happen. She was explaining it to me through a translator (I don't speak Spanish very well), and the very guy drove by in his truck. That was scary, makes me wish it was November already so I could be 21 (the age at which you can get a concealed handgun permit).
Obviously, I don't want to be seen carrying around a rifle, but I think a pistol would've made me a little safer. Unfortunately, the license plate on his truck didn't have the lights, so I couldn't see the numbers. I knew I should've eaten more carrots when I was little! |
