My sister bought me 'Teach Yourself Beginners' Dutch' a handful of years ago, but I could never get myself to go through it. On the other hand, the (very) slim volume that is 'Essential Dutch Grammar' I've actually been able to sit down and read through once cover-to-cover, just so that I'd know what was inside. I'm still looking for a decent Dutch dictionary, though. A bigger one, I mean, than that little Finnish one I have. |
