that Ariva was, very technically, using appropriate grammar and words; however the grave miscalculation was to continue, insistently, to use the word "prejudice", intending to mean that KS (and/or others) was making an assumption that was not founded in research. Unfortunately, the term "prejudice" (and all its various forms and tenses) is a heavily emotionally laden term, particularly in the context of GLBT discussions. It would have been wiser to drop the particular term and used another to get the point across. Emotional baggage clings to language just as strongly as it does to people, and it's no secret that "prejudice" is a heavily emotionally laden term. 2 points for accuracy, but minus several hundred for lack of sensitivity and adaptability.
