but I've filmed a number of presentations, and the clip-on wireless mike seems like the best option, if you can attach it properly and securely. I tried directional on-cam mikes, and they aren't great in terms of removing ambient sound. Neither are the standard ones on a stand, as the speakers tend to wander away from them, and the volume varies wildly - a real pain to compensate later.
