| at least, according to the current US administration which has decided not to enact any legislation to address this because it might have a negative impact on the US job market.
But that really doesn't bother me.
Because the administration is also ignoring "those crackpot scientists" who've been predicting that at current consumption rates we'll run out the world's oil supply in something like forty to sixty years. If the ecosystem of this planet can withstand just that much more abuse, we're home free. Of course, we'll find another way to screw up, but hey, whaddya want? Besides, the planet will survive even if we don't; one outta two ain't bad! |
