While this is something that is easily communicated when itneracting face to face with someone it is completely lost when communicating strictly through printed word on the screen.

As I said in another post, it's all about perception, you may be the coolest cucumber in the patch, but if the audience doesn't see it that way your argument is lost.

Now, if you look back with a calm cool head at the way people have responded to you you should be able to see a pattern. Thier ire rises quickly, this from a number of people who are some of the most happy go lucky people on the board! That should tell you something, you may not be intending to come across as afronted or agressive but that's they way you are percieved. If one person responds poorly, shame on them, if two respond poorly, shame on you.

Passion for your point should come across in how well it's made and understood, not how the other party responds.
