Kuwait is an ally you do not leave an ally swinging in the breeze like that. Once Iraq invaded them the gloves should have come off. Never leave a war half finished, you end up in a situation like the one we have now and in Korea. In Korea there was/is the whole question of China so I understand why we are still at war with them.
