That is, I usually want to start as a priest with a book of identify in my inventory. I honestly don't know how you can safely use any items without an identification spell. So sometimes I restart until I get the right book. Not that it ever helps or anything. The highest level I ever reached was 7. Then I was stunned by a floating eye and beaten to death by some other nearby enemies. By the way, why is it that I get a 100% failure rate on my spells if I change from my robes into anything stronger?
