(The older laptops I've sold off looked almost new :-) For the most part I've got no beef with where the controls are mounted (except for the TM800 having all the USB ports on the left side of the unit). One thing that I don't like though: I don't think Acer makes their own laptop chassis, and so the design is "subject to change without reason". I've seen identical chassis offered by MDG.
