stockpile - A supply stored for future use, usually carefully accrued and maintained. (emphasis mine) They are still finding "stockpiles" of weapons from civil war times and the late 1800's where they were not carefully maintained but are still somewhat functional. The media refers to that as a stockpile or Cache' most of the time. Are they using the term wrong? So the question becomes this I would think. What does a stockpile of weapons constitute. Does 5 knives a stockpile make or 50?? Do 5 shells make a stockpile or 50??
