The above pictures are of a cached stockpile of weapons found by US Marines in Iraq last year. Notice something? A lot of rust perhaps? Makes one wonder what the artillery shells looked like when they were buried.

One thing has been readily apparent since the Gulf War and OIF, the Iraqi military was far from first rate in a lot of things including cacheing techniques.
