agreed on the other comments. Doing all the security measures is more to discourage the layabouts to look for someone else who doesn't have it than really to protect you. MACs can be spoofed, SSIDs can be found, and encryption can be broken (easily unfortunately), but they have to be intentially doing so with extra software to do so.
