is that intelligence was that he had stuff, but that as time progressed that intelligence became weak, and then useless, but the bushies stuck to it, pickign the bits of it that supported their agenda of invading iraq for any reason they could find.

i don't think the initial reports were lies, but by the time the public started seriously questioning it they clearly were intentionally misleading the public in that they had more accurate info/intel that was telling them otherwise that they ignored.
