what I accept for truth may not be what you accept for truth. somewhere out there , there is the objective truth between the two of us.

homosexuality is either right or wrong (along with about a thousand other morality laws). what determines the validity of that? in a democracy the majority does. the general consenus sets the agreed upon truth.

on this board the agreed upon truth of marriage is littel more than, two or more people commit for an unspecified period of time to bond there financial and time assets to the (betterment?) support of of each other. why does this kind of agreement HAVE to be called marriage? Theres a legal entity that more bonding then marraige its called a partnership. So why not provide a generic legal entity for the bonding of assets between mulitple people and allow for rights over said peoples end of life wishes.
