Technology can be used to mitigate some of that in some fields - I mean, the rest of my work group is about 2000 miles from my location, enabling me to stay here with my family. And the Internet and VPNs allow me to work out of my house (and that brings me to the meeting I have in 5 minutes, but I'll be back later to discuss this further. Tis fascinating) |
