...but it's very useful when you need some documentation besides the main application you're using or perhaps several applications open at once (e.g. Visual Studio + SQL + documentation), especially when something you're working on depends on several other things. Kind of the same idea as the split window in Word and some other applications, except you're not searching within the same document.
And Flash is just about useless without at least two monitors or one supersupersized one -- design and script windows need to be pretty large to be of any use, timeline and other panels aren't helping either.

However, searching for the mouse cursor is a different matter entirely...
