But I'll get used to it soon enough. I just got a new monitor, so now I have 19" and 21" CRTs and 15" LCD, or 1280×1024 + 1600×1200 + 1024×768 (or rather 870×768, Trillian uses the last 154px).

It's... um... well... there's plenty of space, that's for sure. But I'm also sure it won't take long before it gets too small again.
