However, a lot of apparent LGBT groups end up actually being discriminatory to the trans and bisexual members amongst them, in transphobia, biphobia, and an effort to create a cleaner public image.

Intolerance of transfolk and gay people has little common origin except possibly that the uninformed are more likely to be intolerant of both.
