Which also stars the lovely Zhang Ziyi. I should point out that I grew up watching those flicks. They're Chinese fairy tales, and they're about as common on Chinese television as sitcoms are in North America. The ones with the top production values are the ones that make it into North American theatres, but there are a plethora of others that were made for TV that have fantastic writing and directing, better than Crouching Tiger. (Not to dis CT/HD, it's pretty good too, but it's not the end-all be-all Legend of Imperial China)
