Somethings I use will not run properly under any of the versions of wine I have tried. Otherwise yes I would kill off XP. I found it bewildering though that on Fedora install it whined I didn't allot as much for swap as it thought I should. I have a gig of RAM. It's got plenty. I had in past used a 1024swap but this time was going to go to a 512M one as I never did use 1024M to begin with. So to appease Fedora I put it to 1012M of swap and it shut up. XP with a gig of memory runs nice. I can't say the same if you have less than that. 256M RAM on XP is painful.
