Question for Ubuntu and Fedore Core 5 users by Ishta 2006-06-17 17:30:53
To Fedora Core 5: Anyone using amd64 get a flash player working. Yes I know about swfdec but the plugin package is older than the swfdec package. The swfdec package doesn't seem to have swf_play. Some files (quicktime) Totem plugin tries to go for fd0:// *sigh*

To Ubuntu: Similar question. Can you get flash 7 linux working. But also can you mount ntfs in rw? Fedora with some packages installed is supposed to mount ntfs read only. It wouldn't do it. I take it as Ubuntu is based on debian it uses deb files so wouldn't be a long install. I am wondering which other window managers it offers.

If anyone has used both. Which is the lesser evil. I'm dealing with x86_64 arch(AMD venice cpu).

*Notes above isn't to cause any form of Distro Warfare.
