language software by Nessalc 2006-06-17 13:37:32
Is there any software that someone here could recommend for learning a language? Specifically, Japanese. I would like to take a class on that this fall semester, but I find it highly unlikely that my boss would give me two hours every afternoon to attend, especially since it doesn't have any direct relevance to my job. I am willing to devote significant time and energy in this pursuit, so I want something that, in addition to being quality software that teaches comprehension in reading and listening, goes beyond the basics. Ideas? Rosetta Stone is the only one I've looked at so far, but I appreciate any further suggestion.
