understand it. Even the bit about the kids adopting different personas. She didn't get who was who or why they adopted those personas.

I was thinking, "Did you watch the movie?" It's all there, and it's all explained reasonably well. They weren't exactly cryptic about it. I dunno what she was thinkin'
