In this case it is a) new poster announcing his/her presence and b) content of the post actualy contributes to the board. If it was an attempt to get the first posting of the day, or just a "here I am" first post, then yes it would be moddable (is that an actual verb?) -- Not a Mod, But I play one on the internet
